Chris Christie Gives Conditional Support To New Jersey Internet Gambling

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie gave his conditional for an Internet gambling bill last week, reports The Wall Street Journal.

"The importance of gaming and tourism industries in New Jersey cannot be overstated," Mr. Christie wrote. Christie also suggested that the bill come with a 10-year limit and a 15 percent gambling tax. If the bill passes, New Jersey would become one of the first states in the country to legalize Internet gambling.
