Electronic Funds Transfer Act Amendment Passes Senate

The Senate has passed H.R. 4367, a bill that amends the Electronic Funds Transfer Act by removing the placard fee discloser requirement which many believe has led to frivolous lawsuits against ATM owners.

The bill passed by unanimous consent in the Senate and will now be sent to President Obama, reports the Credit Union Times.
