Facebook Flips The Switch On Subscription Payments

Facebook is giving all developers access to subscription payment systems this week. Only a handful of developers including Zynga have had access to the feature since June, when the social network first announced that it would offer the capability.

The feature lets developers offer consumers access to a “premium” version of their game applications, All Things D says. They can also offer a set of premium virtual goods to their subscriber base.
