Annmarie D. “Mimi” Hart is President, CEO and Chairman of MagTek, Inc.

She joined MagTek, the leading provider of secure card reading and authentication technology, in January 2003. Through her leadership and vision, MagTek spearheaded the development of the industry’s first secure card readers in 2005 and in 2006 launched Magensa, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MagTek which provides a broad range of PCI compliant, cloud-based payment protection and gateway services including decryption, tokenization, card/terminal authentication, and key management services.

Prior to joining MagTek she was the founder and President of Express Card Systems, Inc. a technology solutions provider. Recently, she helped to found the Secure Remote Payment Council, an industry group focused on enhancing on-line and mobile payment security. Mimi has been a strong supporter of Industry Standards and ensures that representatives of MagTek play key roles in the ANSI and ISO workgroups that formulate new standards. As an industry spokesperson, she has called for greater security especially as it affects the consumer and has often noted that strong consumer protection benefits all stakeholders in the payment infrastructure.

Mimi is a graduate of Boston College.
