MasterCard’s Lanford Voted Most Influential Figure in European Prepaid Industry

The votes are in, and after two months of collecting ballots from members of the prepaid industry, MasterCard’s Head of Prepaid for Europe Matt Lanford has been named the European prepaid industry’s most influential figure.

The honor was bestowed upon Lanford at this year’s Prepaid 2012 Conference and Expo.

“With global spend on open loop prepaid cards projected to reach $822 billion by 2017, we’re working closely with our customers and partners to identify and capitalise on all the growth opportunities,” Lanford said of his company’s efforts.
