Mobile Ad Network WHERE Becomes PayPal Media Network

Mobile ad network WHERE Ads, already an eBay subsidiary, has been renamed the PayPal Media Network.

“This change reflects our full integration into the PayPal family and cements our place as a critical piece of PayPal’s vision for the future of shopping,” explains Walt Doyle, GM of PayPal Media Network, in a blog post.

The rebrand is more than that, Doyle says, explaining that the announcement is also accompanied by “the launch of a dynamic multi-channel advertising platform.”

Doyle also offers an update on the PayPal Media Network’s reach: the organization is delivering ads to 70 million North American mobile users, he says.
