Study: Groupon’s Newest Merchant Partners Are Of Lesser Quality

A new study based on merchants’ Yelp ratings suggests that the businesses doing deals with Groupon these days are declining in quality.

According to the study conducted by Yale University’s Giorgos Zervas, the average rating of merchants partnering with Groupon “is declining as Groupon matures,” VentureBeat notes.
