Forrester Research has released a new study that predicts annual tablet sales will pass the 380-million mark in 2017, TechCrunch reported on August 6. Forrester said more than half – 60 percent – of North American consumers will own a tablet by this time.
The forecast suggested that tablet sales will increase by a compound annual growth rate of 25.6 percent from 2012 to 2017.
