Massachusetts-based mobile payment platform Leaf has received a strategic $20 million investment from Heartland Payment Systems, All Things D reported on September 30. Heartland had previously signed on as a reseller of the Leaf system.
Leaf CEO Aron Schwarzkopf said his company will use the funding to increase the size of his staff, and invest in research and development.
