A cyberattack on JPMorgan’s networks may have resulted in 465,000 prepaid cardholders having their personal information compromised, Reuters reported on December 4.
The company acknowledged the successful hack on Wednesday, saying that the incident took place in June. The security issue was addressed and law enforcement officials were notified, according to Reuters.
JPMorgan has offered affected cardholders credit-monitoring services free of charge for a year.
