PayPal Shoots For Stars With PayPal Galactic Program

EBay’s PayPal division recently announced it has been working with the Space Tourism Society, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the SETI Institute to develop a payment program for recreational space travelers, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The program, known as PayPal Galactic, will be unveiled in more detail by eBay on June 27.

The media outlet notes that the program is consistent with eBay’s recent goal of extending PayPal’s reach into offline commerce.
