Report: Walmart Eying Successors To CEO Mike Duke

A recent Bloomberg report speculates that Walmart has identified two potential internal candidates to succeed current CEO Mike Duke, and that the retail giant may name a successor in the coming months.

Bloomberg identifies Doug McMillion and Bill Simon as Walmart’s two leading candidates. McMillon is Walmart’s international head, while Simon runs its U.S. operations.

The report indicates that Duke, who is Walmart’s fourth CEO since the company went public, is not expected to step down immediately.
