PulseWallet Touts Cardless Biometric POS Option At CES

PulseWallet is demonstrating a cardless point-of-sale solution at the Consumer Electronics Show this week in Las Vegas that uses of PalmSecure biometric technology by Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc.

“For the first time the public will see how smoothly and efficiently the complete solution, integrated with Fujitsu’s PalmSecure technology, works for merchants and consumers alike,” Aimann Rasheed, PulseWallet co-founder and CEO, said in a Jan. 7 press release.

The “spoof-proof” integrated PalmSecure vein-imaging technology enables merchants to provide a secure payment while providing an all-in-one payment system for consumers to access their electronic wallets, the company noted.

Once registered, consumers scan their palm for payment at the point of sale. Each palm scan is encrypted to avoid the security exposure, the company noted.
