PayPal To Integrate With MICROS POS

PayPal and Maryland-based hospitality and retail point-of-sale (POS) provider MICROS inked a new partnership on August 20, a press release revealed.

Under the terms, PayPal will integrate with MICROS “hundreds of thousands of merchant locations,” allowing these business owners to accept payment via PayPal’s mobile application.

“Leveraging the capabilities and infrastructure provided by our MICROS Payment Gateway technology, we were able to quickly integrate PayPal with several popular MICROS hospitality and retail POS platforms, and have the ability to support a mass scale deployment of the solution to merchant locations around the world,” Michael Russo, chief technology officer at MICROS, said in a statement.
