Global eCommerce giant Amazon announced that the Amazon Appstore is now open to HTML5 web applications and mobile websites, TechCrunch reported on August 7.
Consumers can now discover and purchase Android applications on any device where the Amazon Appstore is able to run. Further, Amazon released its In-App Purchase API, which will allow developers to offer consumers the ability to buy apps with a single click.
