Arizona-based web domain and eCommerce solution provider GoDaddy has acquired San Francisco-based local business discovery engine Locu, All Things D reported on August 19.
Two dozen Locu employees will join GoDaddy as part of the deal. The move bolsters GoDaddy’s eCommerce services by giving it access to Locu’s 30,000 network users.
Sources close to the deal told the media outlet GoDaddy paid $70 million in cash and stock for Locu. For more on the agreement, click here.
