Vantiv Acquires Element Payments, Beats Q2 EPS Expectations

    This figure came in below the $299.14 million in revenue analysts expected. However, Vantiv posted earnings per share of $0.40 for the quarter, a figure that topped predictions by $0.02.

    The company also made public its acquisition of Arizona-based payments technology company Element Payment Systems, a move it said would allow it to penetrate new verticals.
