
King & Spalding has announced that antitrust and consumer protection litigation expert Sean Royall has joined the firm as a partner. Royall has devoted his entire career to handling complex antitrust litigation matters and government investigations.
Andy Bayman, leader of King & Spalding’s trial and global disputes practice group, said of Royall: “He is a seasoned and well-respected antitrust and consumer protection litigator with a strong international presence and a desire to build with the firm’s other global antitrust and consumer protection leaders. He will play a critical role in helping us expand on our existing strengths to become a market leader for all types of antitrust and consumer protection work.”

Royall has had a diverse career in both government and private practice, involving work on many mergers and acquisitions as well as complex litigation matters that touch on law areas such as patent law, federal regulatory regimes, consumer protection, and privacy.
The addition of Royall will further strengthen King & Spalding’s existing antitrust and consumer protection capabilities. With Royall’s expertise, the firm is set to become a market leader in various types of work situated in this area.
