Together, the new lease signees complete the campus’ street-front retail lineup, Walmart said in a Wednesday (Dec. 10) press release. They are expected to open in spring 2026.
They will join several street-front businesses that are already open, and others that are set to open this month and throughout early 2026, according to the release.
“Anthropologie’s planned arrival, along with the full mix of businesses coming to our new Home Office, reflects our commitment to delight our associates and the Bentonville community with new-to-market concepts,” Cindi Marsiglio, senior vice president of corporate real estate at Walmart, said in the release.
Walmart announced its plans for a new corporate campus in Bentonville in 2017, saying the headquarters would include bike trails, a park, food trucks, childcare, fitness centers and other amenities.
In a 2019 press release outlining the company’s plans for the new Home Office, Dan Bartlett, executive vice president, corporate affairs at Walmart, said the firm had spent a couple of years imaging what its “dream home” might look like.
“Of course, associates have heard leadership say time and again, Walmart is people-led and tech-empowered,” Bartlett said. “For that statement to continue to guide us, we need a modern, connected campus. We expect this will accelerate Walmart’s digital transformation and help attract the next generation of talent with state-of-the-art technology and contemporary conveniences.”
The first new Home Office amenity was launched in January 2024 with the grand opening of Walton Family Health & Fitness, a 360,000-square-foot that offers healthy dining options, fitness classes, recovery services, nutrition kitchen, education and connection spaces, and meditation gardens.
When the company opened the full new Home Office in January, Marsiglio said in a press release: “It’s more than just a place to work — it’s a space to thrive, dream big and shape the future of retail.”
It was reported in June that the new campus mirrors those of some of the world’s biggest tech companies and is designed to attract talent and update Walmart’s core philosophy to include offering not only the lowest prices but also things like speed and convenience.
