Provider Ranking Finds Finance Apps Stable

Investment and financial management apps showed stability through the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the latest PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Personal Finance apps shows.

The Top Five

Not budging from their previous chart positions, the Top Five Personal Finance apps for the month of March were solid as a rock, with investment app Robinhood keeping the lead at No. 1, followed by challenger banking app Chime at No. 2, with incremental investment app Stash holding at No. 3, the Albert Save And Spend Smarter app at No. 4 and the micro-investing app Acorns at No. 5.

The Top 10

Things get more lively outside the Top 5 Personal Finance apps in this week’s ranking.

Fidelity Investments moved up two spots to land at No. 6 in the latest Provider Ranking, trading the No. 8 spot with automatic savings app Digit. Expense management app Expensify dropped one spot to land at No. 10 in the latest ranking, as the financial wellness app MyWisely entered the Top 10, coming in at No. 9. Personal finance app Mint held its No. 7 position.
