PYMNTS’ new Provider Ranking of Coupon Apps debuts this month with cool newcomers topping the list of competitors in the mobile shopping rewards category.
The Top 5
Coming in at No. 1 is Rakuten whose cash-back rewards have proven most popular, followed at No. 2. by Honey, PayPal’s price-tracking acquisition. At No. 3 we find cash-back app Ibotta, with discount prescription app GoodRX feeling good at No 4. Finishing out the Top Five this time around is Flipp, which consolidates deals from over 2,000 retailers and eTailers.
The Top 10
At No. 6 for the inaugural Provider Ranking of Coupon Apps is fuel savings app GasBuddy, followed by Groupon at No. 7, RetailMeNot at No. 8, Receipt Hog at No. 9 and making it into the Top 10 is ShopKick, the unique activity-based shopping rewards app.
