Manager, National Sales and Account Management – Commercial Card Solutions

For this new role, AirPlus seeks a self-motivated and goal-oriented professional with a minimum of five years Commercial Card sales and account management experience with a special focus on purchasing and procurement card solutions and technologies.

You will have the responsibility for driving commercial card growth by selling our purchasing and procurement card solutions to businesses across the US.  You must be a master of all aspects of direct selling including lead generation, customer meetings, presentations, proposals, closing the sale, and follow-up.  You will be expected to own the customer relationship throughout the lifecycle; including having the implementation and on-going account management responsibility. 

In addition you will be responsible for supporting AirPlus sales professionals in the US market that are focused on travel payment solution sales and to meet with existing AirPlus corporate clients in the US to expand the business relationship to include purchasing and procurement card solutions. Furthermore you will collaborate with product management and marketing teams within the organization to enhance and expand our products and marketing efforts in the US.

We look for a self-starter with the flexibility to travel extensively across the US and to our headquarters in Germany.  You need to be able to develop and maintain professional relationships, independently prioritize and organize responsibilities, show a proven track record of meeting assigned goals, and demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate the financial benefits of the AirPlus products and solutions.
