    Serve acts like a wallet in the cloud, allowing users to connect bank accounts, debit or credit cards to their Serve profile. A full release explaining the details behind this week’s announcement is available on Amex’ website.

    In Australia, Commonwealth Bank’s Kaching app also connects Facebook users to bank accounts. In the U.S., PayPal’s Send Money app on Facebook allows P2P money transfers.
