Ingenico, SilverPay Partner to Process Payments in UK Taxis

Ingenico and SilverPay are set to enter U.K.’s taxicab payment processing market by supplying mobile and countertop payment units to cab fleets. The companies have already reached terms on one contract, a release explains, and cite “additional opportunities in the pipeline.” Overall, the companies estimate that 250,000 taxis operate throughout the U.K.
