Square has announced they’re prematurely ending their pilot with the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) to pursue a platform that meets new taxicab regulations.
The TLC pilot, which involved installing an iPad and iPhone in the cabs for mobile payments, has been ongoing for the past few months, notes Finextra.
