eCommerce giant Amazon is reportedly working with HTC to create Android-powered smartphones, according to The Guardian.
Those familiar with the project told the FT that there are three devices in the works, with one “likely to be released in 2014.” HTC, however, could risk expulsion from the Open Handset Alliance if it has helped Amazon in Google’s Android operating system.
