Bitcoin Brokerage Hit By $12,000 Attack

Bitinstant, a Bitcoin brokerage, was hit by a hackers’ attach that left it losing $12,000 worth of bitcoins. The hackers took control of the company’s DNS domains and email servers and used them to log into VirWox, another Bitcoin exchange, to remove $12,480 worth of bitcoin out of a Bitinstant account, Tech Crunch reports.
