The European ATM Security Team and LiquidNexxus teamed together to host the first Financial Crime and Security Forum event where they discussed Europe’s ATM crime issues, reported ATM Marketplace.
The congregation highlighted the need to gain international cooperation. They presented ways to avoid fraud, stating that regional card-blocking, NFC mobile acceptance and contactless cards were key initiatives.
HSBC representatives attended the event, and demonstrated to the audience that a holistic strategy was integral for future ATM security.
