Foursquare Opens Self-Serve Ad Platform

Foursquare, following the footsteps its social media peers Facebook and Twitter, has decided to open a self-serve ad business, according to AllThingsD.

Foursquare is now using a software that allows for local bars and restaurants to buy ads “on a cost-per-action basis” for at least $50 a month.
