France Telecom CEO Squashes Pan-European Network Rumors

Recently there have been rumors of a pan-European mobile infrastructure. But yesterday, France Telecom’s CEO, Stéphane Richard, squashed any hope of such a network in a declaration at a press conference in France. According to the rumors Europe’s main mobile operators were already in discussion with the European Commission but Richard confirmed it was simply a rumor
