JamboPay To Launch In Uganda

JamboPay, the online payments solution provider, announced it will soon expand services Uganda, reported HumanIPO. Merchants and entrepreneurs in Uganda will be able to process payments through mobile phones with Internet access.

    At present, JamboPay operates in Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal and the Netherlands. JamboPay said operations in Uganda are set to launch within six months.

    “At the moment we have Visa and MasterCard only in Uganda, we are setting up to have the whole approach that will also include mobile payment. We have to have a physical approach as well,” said CEO Danson Muchemi.
