Report: Americans Cavalier About PIN Protection

Fraud prevention and payment processing provider Alaric has released new survey results that reveal that nearly half of all Americans are lax about their PIN security, ATM Marketplace reported on July 24.

    The study found that more than 60 percent of consumers 25-to-34 years old reported sharing their PIN number. Women were more likely than men to report compromising this piece of financial information.
