Rocket Internet’s Australian eCommerce Site Nets $26M

Rocket Internet-created fashion site The Iconic, which serves eCommerce consumers in Australia and New Zealand, announced that it raised $26 million in new funding, TechCrunch reported.

    The investment round was led by Verlinvest, and included contributions from Kinnevik and Summit Partners, two organizations that regularly fund Rocket Internet ventures.

    With the new fundraising, The Iconic has set a record for the most investment raised by any eCommerce company in Australia to date.
