Study: Consumers Favor Apple, Target For Mobile Shopping

A new study from Mobiquity shows that consumers favor Apple and Target the most among retail brands for mobile shopping experiences, the company reported in a December 11 press release.

Forty-nine percent of consumers shopped at Apple using their smartphones in 2013, according to the data. This marks a huge increase from last year, when only 14 percent of consumers reported the same.

The study also showed that consumers are more apt to abandon a shopping experience if the user interface is too confusing. Roughly half of respondents said that an issue with their tablet would lead them to give up on making a purchase.
