Target Most-Browsed Retailer On Mobile Channel

A new study from Mobiquity shows that mobile consumers are more drawn to Target’s app and website than Walmart’s, Mobile Commerce Daily reported on December 12.

Thirty-nine percent of smartphone users and 45 percent of tablet users have visited Target’s website over the past six months, the report revealed. These levels were up from 22 percent and 28 percent, respectively.

In an interview with Mobile Commerce Daily, Mobiquity vice president of mobile insights Gene Signorini said that consumers are looking for across-the-board quality on all channels when they shop.

“Target [has] done a superb job in this area,” he concluded.
