A new Bankrate survey has revealed that the average cost for U.S. consumers to withdraw cash from ATMs has reached a new high of $4.13, ATM Marketplace reported. This is a 2 percent increase from last year, alongside a 3 percent overdraft fee increase.
The survey also found that the average foreign ATM fee decreased by 3 percent, and that the availability of free checking fell by 1percent.
