Finnish eCommerce Startup Kiosked Raises $6.9 Million

Kiosked, a Finnish eCommerce startup that specializes in turning Web photos and videos into digital micro-storefronts, successfully raised $6.9 million in a private funding round.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the company uses embedded tags to create pop-up windows that prompt consumers to make a purchase.

The company’s investors include Kaj Hed. The $6.9 million will be used to fund Kiosked global expansion strategy, which includes growth in Asian and U.S. markets.
