PayPal Props Up Its Merchant Checkout

PayPal has a new streamlined checkout experience for mobile and desktop-computer shoppers.

The new “in-context” experience is different because users are not redirected to PayPal’s site to process the payment. Instead, shoppers remain on the merchant site as they complete their order, VentureBeat reported on Jan. 13.
