AP Consulting Firm excelerateds2p Joins Basware Partner Network

Consulting and implementation firm excelerateds2p has become part of the international partner network of source-to-pay technology provider Basware, according to a Wednesday (Sept. 2) announcement.

excelerateds2p has had a traditionally formidable emphasis on those who use SAP and SAP Ariba, according to the announcement.

“It’s always been our focus to ensure organizations drive real business value from their procurement and AP functions, and to ensure that they are intrinsically linked to business objectives,” excelerateds2p General Manager, EMEA Paul Jones said in the announcement. “Part of that is ensuring that we’re implementing, driving adoption and supporting the most appropriate technology solution for them.”

The collaboration underscores an effort to make partner relationships more in-depth for the purposes of growth and continued optimization of connections with top enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Additionally, the international approach of Basware and excelerateds2p affords a special ability to help firms with the most demanding (and global) accounts payable (AP) and purchasing climates.

“We are delighted to be embarking on this partnership with excelerateds2p,” Basware General Manager, UK & Ireland Justin Sadler Smith said in the announcement. “Their proven procurement and finance technology delivery experience is ideally matched to Basware’s Purchase to Pay capability as a Best-of-Breed Provider.”

Basware, which conducts business in more than 100 nations and is listed on the Helsinki exchange, offers digital billing, purchase-to-pay technology and financing offerings. The company says that its infrastructure provides complete spend visibility to organizations, allowing the ingestion of financial information throughout finance, purchasing and accounting.

The news comes as Sievo, the procurement analytics firm, has become part of the Basware partner ecosystem, per news in August. Sievo lets companies take a look at their spending, supervise their contracts and make forecasts for their expenses, among other abilities.

Last November, news surfaced that Basware now offers company automation resources on the digital marketplace known as the SAP App Center.
