Lumin Partners With JAXFCU On Digital Banking Integration

PSCU company Lumin Digital is partnering with Jax Federal Credit Union (JAXFCU) to provide mobile and online banking services for over 23,000 users, which comprises around 60 percent of JAXFCU's membership, when the credit union goes live with Lumin in April of next year, according to a press release.

Established in 1935, Jacksonville, Florida-based JAXFCU prides itself on its low-cost products, competitive rates and high quality of service, and strives to provide financial education to help its members make the most of their money. JAXFCU set out to find a digital services provider that would fully integrate with other offerings, and it found an ideal solution in Lumin Digital, which provides "seamless integration" that enables members of the CU to utilize both mobile and web channels.

In addition, Lumin's innovations will enable the credit union to add business services to its digital banking offerings.

Jill Thomas-Aviles, VP of payments and deposit operations, said Lumen Digital's platform would help with the credit union's "concerted effort in recent years to consolidate our fragmented services and offerings into a single solution."

"We believe Lumin Digital’s platform will do just that, ultimately streamlining and improving the member experience,” she said, according to the release. “Given that our mobile users have now surpassed online users, the timing for this could not be better, and we are excited to launch next year.”

Jeff Chambers, president of Lumin Digital, said JAXFCU was "searching for a dedicated solution that would provide a one-stop-shop for its members, along with seamless integration with its other offerings."

“We look forward to working with the team at JAXFCU to deliver our industry-leading platform and services, all customizable to each individual member," he said, according to the release.

Lumin Digital frequently partners with credit unions to offer customized integrations to help boost relations between banks and customers. It recently partnered with Interra Credit Union and Los Angeles Federal Credit Union (LAFCU) to offer new enhancements for members.
