North Side improves customer experience through verbal or text based communications to do transactions or access self-service information from mobile devices or computers.
Its product, VerbalAccess, provides a language-based interface to banking, credit card, payments, lending, investment and insurance applications, databases and websites.
The company has developed an English conversation software while working on Bot Colony – the world’s first video game that understands English, where players speak with the game’s characters. They have also adapted Natural Language Understanding (NLU) technology to financial services, to enable customer self-service and transactions through conversation.
