Report: Payments Startups Raised $1.2B In 2013

Through some 193 deals, payments startups brought in $1.2 billion in new funding in 2013, according to analyst group CB Insights.

Venture fundraising by payments startups climbed 5 percent between 2012 and 2013, Finextra reported on Jan. 10. New deals increased by 6 percent.

Accel Partners and Andreessen Horowitz were the year’s most active investors last year, according to CB Insights.
