Shopmox launched a new iPad app this week that puts a shopping mall into every iPad. Anthropologie, Gap, Banana Republic, Urban Outfitters, Fossil, Old Navy, and Gap Kids are among Shopmox’s early retail partners, according to TechCrunch.
“Shopmox is meant to be a fun and addictive experience, like shopping in a mall,” co-founder Kevin Lister told TechCrunch.
The app is explicitly geared towards attracting female shoppers. “Even for the men’s stores, we expect women to be the primary users. Rather than trying to please everyone, we are laser-focused on the female shopping experience,” Lister said.
