A new Skype-based malware program is using victims’ computers to mine for bitcoins, according to a Kaspersky Labs report.
Finextra notes that the scam sends victims a message encouraging them to downloading a picture, which instead sends a virus form a server in India. Most victims are coming from Italy, Russia, Poland, Costa Rica, Spain, Germany and Ukraine.
