Internet Archive Accepts Bitcoin Donations For Employee Pay

The Internet Archive has announced that it will begin accepting Bitcoin donations in order to help pay their employees. The company claims that some of its employees have asked to begin receiving payments in Bitcoin.

“In the last 2 years, over 300 people have graciously donated Bitcoins to the Internet Archive,” the company wrote on its blog. “If this is successful we hope to make it a continuing operation.”
