Microsoft plans to replace Xbox Points with a new gift card system similar to iTunes vouchers, according to the The Verge.
The Verge claims that a source close to Microsoft tells them that the new gift card platform will be similar to Apple’s iTunes vouchers, letting Xbox owners use real currency to download content.
Currently, Microsoft’s gift cards can only be used at the company’s physical retail locations.
