Senate Names Richard Berner As Head Of Office Of Financial Research

Richard Berner has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the first director of the Office of Financial Research (OFR), notes BankCreditNews.com.

Berner will serve a six-year term in his capacity. The OFR was established under the Dodd-Frank Act.
