Israel: Against odds, telcos maintain optimism for joint venture

    The companies, which announced the venture this week, have hired advisors for the merger as they prepare to submit the plans for regulatory approval. But experts warn the deal will face significant antitrust challenges as the venture joins the nation’s top-two wireless operators and would result in a dominant force controlling the nation’s wireless infrastructure.
