US/France: Pro Mach makes total buyout of machinery firm

US-based Pro Mach announced this week that it reached a deal to wholly acquire France-based Ets. Andre Zalkin & Cle, a deal to combine the two packaging and machinery manufacturers.

    The deal, which remains subject to regulatory approval, strengthens the companies ties as Zalkin already holds a partnership with Pro Mach division Fowler Products.

    Zalkin specializes in making capping product machines, while Pro Mach manufacturers package products.

    Financial details of the transaction were not revealed.
