Austin Smith

Austin Smith is an associate in Hogan Lovells' Washington, D.C. office, advising clients on a variety of antitrust, competition, and economic regulation matters with a particular focus on antitrust litigation. Austin also has experience with consumer protection litigation, multi-district class action litigation, and the intersection between antitrust and intellectual property law. In addition to his antitrust litigation work, Austin is actively involved in the firm's Pro Bono practice, assisting clients in a broad range of matters. Most recently, Austin has served as lead associate on a Special Immigrant Juvenile Status case in Virginia family court and federal immigration court. Austin has also provided legal services to the homeless and participated in drafting habeas corpus petitions in a death penalty case. Education: J.D. University of Virginia School of Law. B.S.
